After three years in office, President Trump has thus far installed 187 judges to the federal bench, as he continues to stack the federal judiciary with conservatives.

Last week, as House Democrats voted to impeach the president, the Senate confirmed 13 more district court judges.

As 2019 comes to a close, a full one in four circuit court judges — second in power only to Supreme Court justices — have been appointed by the 45th president. For comparison: Barack Obama, at the same point in his presidency, had confirmed 25 circuit court judges; Trump has confirmed 50.

Trump's 50 circuit court judges through three years are just five shy of the 55 Obama confirmed in his entire eight-year tenure.

As the Washington Post describes:

After three years in office, President Donald Trump has remade the federal judiciary, ensuring a conservative tilt for decades and cementing his legacy no matter the outcome of November's election.

I love when a Trumpster does a full 180 degree turn when cornered on a question, change the topic.
