George Conway calls out Mitch McConnell for covering up Mueller’s findings

Conservative attorney George Conway shamed Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) for helping President Donald Trump keep special counsel Robert Mueller from publicly testifying.

McConnell declared “case closed” on the special counsel’s investigation, joining Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and the president — and the husband of White House adviser Kellyanne Conway said their efforts left the nation unprepared for future attacks on election integrity.

This isn’t about the results of the 2016 election, and isn’t about partisan politics,” Conway tweeted at McConell. “It’s about whether the President of the United States improperly tried to undermine an investigation into a foreign hostile power’s interference with our democratic affairs, and, thus, ultimately, whether or not he complied with his oath and his obligations under the Constitution.”

“And so, too, if you choose to ignore it,” Conway added, “the matter becomes a question of whether you and your colleagues have complied with your solemn duties as well.”
Trump asked if he could pardon himself!
