I have a Teddy Bear that has a croched Victorian dress, hot glue for some flowers and such. How can I clean it without destorying all the flowers and such?

If needed I can post pictures once I get home so you can see what I'm talking about.

Can you see the sewn in pearls and little rosebuds, how do I clean without harming them?

This one just so you can see my bear is no hussy, undies are a must, LOL.

A lovely lady over in Yates made this for my sister as a gift to me about 10 years ago.

Annie, email those pics to me. I'll forward them to my mom. She'll know how to clean it. She's the crochet Queen

Is it dust that you want to get off it? You might want to try canned air.

I think pretty much it is, I have used Febreeze and Hair Dryer; canned air is a great idea, thanks \:\)

I thought that it might need a more thorough cleaning. I know it just sits there but I have had it for quite a few years and was wondering how to do a more thorough cleaning, if even needed.

put it in a nylons bag and place it in the dryer with a febreeze sheet. I do this all the time with my dolls and they smell fresh when they are ready to date again come back out for display

seems to me that you should be able to use cold water and woolite then roll in a towel and lay flat to dry.... glue gun glue is not water soluable , so it should not melt with col water.....
