Who cares... If she is a college student or not... How is she different then any other 20 year old living at home? She should not live at home, unless she is in college? Stop!... Who cares!... It's not any one's business anyway!!!

At the start of the show there was a quick flash of some old buildings and a police car and neither appeared to be in Geneva. That seemed kind of odd but put in there for appearance purposes I suppose.

And for some of you, is this what you have reduced yourselves too, attempting to sum up this family after only watching an hour long show? Actually less than an hour with commercials.

If my son had an interest in boxing I would take him to Tim Hill.

But none the less, congratulations Hill family. May you and your family enjoy many years of peace and happiness in your new home.

If memory serves me correctly, there have been previous episodes where they actually did a tour of the town the show was in. I kept looking for landmarks that I recognized as Geneva and about the only one I noticed was the few seconds the bus was on 14 above the lake. I think if the show was still 2 hours long, they could do more with giving a background of the community the family lives in.

Thanks! That's all I wanted to know...no need for everyone to get so defensive about it! I asked a simple question, I didn't put the girl down.

Remember they are trying to fit Mr. Hills story, a weeks worth of day and night work, and the big reveal into 42 minutes... ...Some people want them to advertise or talk about the towns struggles in that time too? The name of the show is Extreme Home Makeover not Make Over a House, Plug this town, and This Towns Plight...

The show is not about Geneva... Why can't people get over that!?! The show is about giving to others who have given to the community or their families... It is about rewarding a man and his family, why can't people just be happy for the Hills and stop complaining about the show not plugging Geneva or showing it's landmarks?

Seriously... Look how many reality shows are on TV, do you expect them all to plug the town they are in?

How many millions of people saw this episode? DO you think many of them care about Geneva, NY or want to see a plug for a town? No!!! They want to see the family and the house!!!

Seriously how many of the episodes of EHM have you watched where you wished you saw more of the place they were that week? Probably none. What makes you think anyone who is not from the area wanted to see Geneva on TV last night!?!

I know TV turns fiction into reality, but why would they show something untrue like that?

Thank god JoJoTax payer isn't a producer for EHM, she would have staged a torched police car in the Hills front yard.. All in all it would have been good... She could have hired some extra's to have a gang fight at the big reveal, and have them train at the Hills gym...

I was pointing out that in previous seasons when they did a 2 hour show, they had the ability to show more of the town then they can in a one hour show. Personally, I think the 2 hour show is much better because it also gives more detail during the construction of the new home. I would have loved if they had been able to focus more on the home and the building of it.

If they had ran a 2 hour show, they would have had me tuned in for 2 hours instead of the 1 hour. Oh well, no big deal. I think it is great that this family got the recognition they did.

Now that would have been cool. I might have actually watched the stupid show if they did something like that.

Funny that they trashed Geneva. I didn't watch it but would like to have seen that part.

Sovereign Queen should have been a producer.

I like hat Hill grew up in a rough neighborhood in Geneva I was unaware Geneva had neighborhoods? Does Geneva have different neighborhoods... Corn Hill Section of Utica, East New York Brooklyn, South side of Syracuse etc etc (just an example of neighborhoods in other cities) I was unaware Geneva had neighborhoods or was it a TV production establishment?

Boy Genevan you hit the nail right on the head!!!! Somebody evidently DID NOT do thier homework on a little plugging for our little CITY...(did ya notice they kept calling Geneva a town). To all the good parents out there who try their best to raise decent kids in this CITY, keep up the good work. I am not a professional at this but I would say 90% of our kids stay out of trouble, come from balanced homes, stay in school and away from all this drug trafficing the program made reference to. And by the way, I lived right down the street from the Hills in the early 70's for many years, and I can tell ya, our street was very nice. School teachers all over the place. And also, I would like to know the name of the guy who had the gray hair, long and straggely, pony tailish who constantly commented that the boxing program is the main thing that keeps these troubled kids off the streets. I know he didnt mean it, but it almost sounded like as if it werent for boxing, these kids would be in trouble all the time. Anyone out there agree?

the gray haired guy came off a little kooky. maybe he's a real nice guy and genuinely appreciates what the Hills have done but went on and on too much/heavily.

I actually noticed that as well..

The house was amazing.. but a bit too much. I think money could have been spent better elsewhere. I cant say the family doesnt deserve it though.. They seem like nice, down to earth people. Congrats. And Kudos to UofR as well.

Everyone has their own opinions..
