Whatever it is I'm sure it costs way too much money for what we the taxpayers get out of it.

Let me get out my hankie and wipe my tears over poor "Joe the plumber" who because he makes over $250,000 a year, is going to have to pay a little more tax. Poor baby....

Actually, I'm a janitor, I mop floors for a living. But I prefer to be called a 'maintenance' engineer.

What is this about? Is there dirt to be had somehow on the GCSD, if there is I must know it. Do Tell.

I have family who live in a Boston suburb and they have to pay to have their children do after-school sports at the public school. She just paid 310 dollars for my cousin to do Cross Country (and she'll have to pay for him to do soccer in the spring)...which makes it impossible for lower income kids to do it. They also have to pay 600 dollars a year for the kids to ride the school bus. Thats in addition to their property taxes....I personally don't agree with it. Just thought I would add this to see what others opinions are since I find it interesting.

In Boston the taxes are probably a lot lower. Here they are out of control. I would rather have it that way so I don't have to pay for everyones kids to do athletics.

I think the real story is that Joe the Plumber wants to purchase a plumbing business that makes over $250,000/yr. Correct me if I'm wrong.

But you fail to let people know that they pay no school taxes!! I'll swap my $2,000 a year school taxes for a $600 bus and $310 in cross country.

Ok, you are wrong. I hate plumbing, it always leaks. I'll stick to mopping floors.
