No I haven't... but if I do it will have to be on a weekend so my breath clears by Monday!

The other day I just HAD to make homemade french onion soup. MMMMmmmmmm
items needed : salt, pepper, grated parmesan cheese, 1 tsp minced garlic, 4 tbsp butter, 1/4 cup flour, 2 beef bullion cubes, 1/2 tbsp Two Sisters "Great Caesars Ghost" seasoning(sold online and at party light candle parties), sliced provolone cheese, 2 16 ounce containers beef BROTH, 1 4oz container of concentrated beef STOCK, 3 large onions, french bread sliced on the bias.
Cut onions and place in stock pot with butter and minced garlic, "sweat" onions till almost transparent.
Add flour then bullion cubes, great Caesars ghost, stock and broth.
Salt and pepper to taste, bring to boil then reduce heat to low and cover till reduced. (the longer the better) gently toast sliced french bread in oven.
Once ready use a ladle strainer to set ample amount of onions in bottom of crock, fill with soup, then place bread on TOP. (very important step so bread doesn't get too mushy) Cover crock with provolone cheese and dust with grated parmesan and place in broiler till cheese is browning and bubbling.
All the ingredients except for the concentrated beef stock, and Great Caesars Ghost seasoning can be found at Aldi's
