My husband and I are purchasing land from my parents so that we can put a manufactured double wide home on a concrete slab. We are not sure what we have to do and in what order we do it. So far we have a house picked out, we have had the land surveyed, and we have met with our town board (Moravia) and gotten an approval to put a house there. If anyone has knowledge on this I would greatly appreciate it. I have no idea who to call to get a perk test done and what it involves either. But I do know I need a perk test done.
Thanks!

We used Matt Schooley for our septic and perk test.

He is in Auburn. We didn't perk, which most of the land in Cayuga county doesn't. There is alot of clay around here. So we had to have a raised septic, and if I remember right, it was over 3,000. Which was at least 10yrs ago.

I used Matt Schooley, too. He does good work, never any problem. Very efficient.

If you call Cayuga County Health Department, they will give you a list of contractors. \:\)
