Woman arrested for allegedly punching sheriff’s deputy

Waterloo, New York (WSYR-TV) - A Seneca County woman in is jail, after allegedly punching a sheriff’s deputy.
Seneca County Sheriff Jack Stenberg says Susan Hilkert, 47, of Oak Street in Seneca Falls punched a deputy in the chest with a closed fist. The deputy was not injured.
The incident happened around 9:30 p.m. on Monday, July 14 while the deputy was investigating a fight on Hecker Road in the town of Waterloo.
Hilkert was charged with harassment and resisting arrest.
She was arraigned in Junius Town Court and held on $1,000 bail. She is scheduled to be back in court on August 12.
