Does anyone know where there is a schedule of events listed? I tried looking on the internet but couldn't find anything. There's nothing on the W'loo website. I just want to see what's going on so we can make plans. I know on Saturday is the all you can ride time (1-4pm I think) for one price. Also what time is the parade on Friday? Thanks for any info.

The Finger Lakes Times (7/14/08) has a listing in the first section. I believe it was page 5, but not positive on the page number.

can anyone explain the serious lack of grandstand events. Other fairs do so many things I can't figure out why we wouldn't try more events at Seneca. I have seen at one fair they have Demos, quad races, tractor pulls, concerts, stunt shows and that is only the stuff I am interested in. wouldn't it be profitable to have things like these?

Just a question. I don;t even live in the area anymore I just would like to see the old stomping grounds do well. The organizers also have to realize that the soaring scrap prices are going to send the car count on the demo way down and the demo may not be such a cash cow in the future. even if you fill the stands you may have to dip into that money to pay the winnings if the pit earnings go way down.

Maybe this will be a lesson for the Fair Board to learn. They are afraid of trying anything new, opting instead for what they KNOW works which isn't much. Seneca County Fair has become known for it's demolition derbies and nothing else. The fair has not changed a bit in all the years I can remember, but at least they've got two nights of demos! I don't even bother with that hillbilly festival, it's just a waste of time, IMO.

The town has set it so there can only be 2 motor events (this year is an exception for the old timers)and the events have to be done by 11pm since the neighbors have complained so much about the noise.

Thanks Pooh. I didn't realize that the town was limiting the motor events. now I know where to direct my discontent. I'd hate to see the fair fail but unfortunatly I think it is close enough to see. I will be only going to saturdays demo and then taking my two kids to another fair where it has better grandstand events and general admission(pay one price to get in and then ride all the rides).

I know it would cost a ton of money but I would love the thought of moving the event outside the towns Regulations?
