Looking to store a car and household things (furniture, appliances). May need 2 (those self store garages?). One for car and another for stuff. Any suggestions in the Geneva-Seneca Falls area? Any recommendations? Prices? Thank you.

Don't know how long you will be storing the car, but you may want to find a place that starts it regularly (assuming it runs). We had a long term storage site at the Navy base and they would start the vehicles routinely to make sure the batteries were fresh and the fluids were cycled.

I start mine regularly to make sure the batteries and fluids are where they are supposed to be too.

LOL! Definitely don't need it, although I might need an occasional aspirin for my other stiff joints, if I didn't already take a daily one as a blood thinner.

Just wondering if anyone had any experience with any of the storage companies in the area for cars and household furniture and appliances. Pricing, etc.

I am surprised. You can't drive 2 miles in any direction without seeing these self storage units. I thought there would be more "experienced" suggestions.

What Navy base are you talking about, you'd be lucky to come back from a deployment with all the tires on the car!

If the storage units are all over the place what are you asking for?
Can't you make your mind up with out help, how do you put your shoes on or do you need help with them?

I remember seeing a place in Fayette. It is a big farm house type home and they have a huge barn. There used to be a sign out front that said storage available. Not sure if that sign is still there...assuming that it is. You may be able to get a good price. If you're interested pm me and I will tell you exactly where it is.

Sorry my question bothers you enough that you insult me. I was asking for someone with EXPERIENCE with one of the many storage companies. I wanted a RECOMMENDATION from someone with experience!!!!!!! Not an insult to my intelligence. SORRY, I am not as smart as you that I just KNOW who is good. I often look to others for help and advise!!!!!!!!!
