Do you mean Wild Turkey the animal or Wild Turkey Alcohol?
I would imagine that either would go well!
Well I've been looking at the almighty turkey hunter today who happened to brine himself with wild turkey last night and I'm thinking that just the Wild Turkey the animal is best.

All things being equal, I'd rather not hunt and Drink the Wild Turkey!!!
livin...let you in on a little trade secret. While I'm Drinking the Wild Turkey, it make the recipies that much more interesting. the only downfall to that is that I dont exactly remember how much of what I put in.
Such is life..

Fear not, there wasn't any hot sauce used in the creation of this meal nor was there any harm to the animals used in this film....well...except the pig of course....RIP WILBUR. You were SOME PIG. That made up for some good eats....

It was excellent!! The only things I did differently was add another clove of garlic and omit the celery leaves (didn't have any). Oh, and I might have added extra wine.

I left a comment on the blog, but for some reason it isn't there as of yet. Anyhow, i like the recipe for the ribs and plan on using it this coming weekend when we celebrate my daughter's college graduation.

Mmmmmmm.....sounds great! I'm saving the rib recipe for when the kids are home next week, but I'm thinking this one will be dinner tonight! Thanks, I was wondering what to cook
Think it would be good on rolls, or not? In lieu of the rice. I'm not a big rice fan.

Another suggestion to those who crave grilling your Sunday feasts.....Hot Turkey Sausage!!! Aside from all of the better health benefits (less calories, fat, etc...) the taste is great.
I found that the trick to cooking great sausage is to turn them on the grill every 4-5 minutes. This will equally brown the food as well as cook it evenly as well as toughen the sausage. (trust me, I know about burning food on the grill, or as I like to call it "cajun style!"

I used Kaiser rolls and the recipe is awesome! I added peppers & mushrooms to the onions and probably a little more wine than it called for . Keep 'em coming you guys!

not to change the sausage subject...but......how about a recipe for venison burgers!? Anyone got a good recipe for that?! I know you need to add something like ground pork to them, so they don't dry out.
We don't add anything to the ground venison, just preshape the patties and freeze them and then do them very slow on the grill or a nonstick pan. We found this fantastic roasted garlic pepper that just finishes them off perfectly. The key is SLOW cooking, if you do it too fast they will fall apart. Had them last night for supper and sooo good.

Totally random thought that I had to share with my fellow grillites out there. Props to Urban Sun. We took advantage of the 5/20 sale on the meats. I cooked up a whole mess of sausage and did it go quick!!

I strongly recomend boneless chicken breast. But I must caution you about marinading meats high in protein. Marinades that contain natural acids (lemon, citrus, etc...) that only marinade for 1/2 hour. Anything more will start to remove the protein from meat. Little unknown and yet maybe useless, fact.

I made these on Fathers Day. I used left over breakfast sausage and bacon, chopped them together and put on top then drizzled with syrup and baked uncovered. OMG they were amazing.
