Good mabey now they can reform Guns and Roses........

Singer Scott Weiland shocked fans midway through a Velvet Revolver gig on Thursday night by announcing the band's current tour will be its last.
Weiland, who spent 28 days in rehab earlier this year, leading to the cancellation of a number of Velvet Revolver dates, stormed offstage shortly after making his surprise revelation at the Glasgow, Scotland gig.

The rocker told the crowd, "You're watching something special - the last tour by Velvet Revolver."

Following his bombshell, Weiland's bandmates Slash, Duff McKagan, Matt Sorum and Dave Kushner were left looking at each other in a state of confusion.

One fan who was at the concert writes on Velvet Revolver's online forum: "Once (Weiland said Velvet Revolver is to split), Slash, Duff, Matt and Dave all looked at each other. They sang Fall to Pieces, then Scott goes over to the side of the stage and argues with the sound guy. After a couple of songs, he threw his mic down and walked off."

"After a long wait, Duff came out with the band and sang the start of It's So Easy. Scott shows up about halfway through, sang really half-a**** then (he was) gone again."

On Friday, drummer Sorum reflected on the band's chaotic gig in a post on Velvet Revolver's website: "Being in a band is a lot like being in a relationship. Sometimes you just don't get along. I guess there has been more turmoil lately, I guess, with the cancellations and all. It has been frustrating, I am not going to lie..."

"Unfortunately, some people in this business don't realize how great a life they have... Everybody could see who was unhappy last night."

Weiland's reformed band Stone Temple Pilots are scheduled to play their first show in almost seven years at the Rock on the Range festival in Columbus, Ohio in May.

Scott Weiland is another guy like Axl Rose, he's a great talent who allows his personal problems to screw everything up.

They had a ton of talent. I just could never stomach Axl still can't.

It has been known that VR was going on hiatus for awhile now. STP announced shows earlier this year. They are planning a summer tour but it up in the air since Scott has another court date soon for breaking terms of his probation.

The band I am working with currently is playing a show with STP in May in Ohio. I can't wait to see the drama that unfolds.

Whatever. I just love how people read one news story and believe it to be the total truth.

So, its not true that he went out on stage and acted like the typical lead singer?
