Well, Sweetglory, some of those dishes I had served were my Mom's own recipes. Ewach time I make them I feel a little closer to her, almost like having her in the kitchen with me. I was "Mom's baby"...no doubt about that. But I also think of Dad...the carving, the "let's eat!" ect. This year I got a real Christmas tree and it is the first one I have had since I was a little girl. It is beautiful, but I think what I missed the most was going to find the picture perfect tree with Dad and fauling it back to the house.
Thena, my parents are not buried around here, so I can not go to their graves more than a few times a year. I still can not leave without tears.

My First Christmas in Heaven

I see the countless Christmas trees, around the world below
with tiny lights like heaven's stars, reflecting on the snow.
The sight is so spectacular, please wipe away your tears,
for I am sharing Christmas, with Jesus Christ this year.

I hear the many Christmas songs, that people hold so dear,
The sounds of music can't compare, with the Christmas choir here.
I have no words to tell you, the joy their voices bring,
It's far beyond description, to hear the angels sing.

I know how much you miss me, I feel the pain within your heart
but I am not so far away, We really aren't apart.
So be happy for me loved ones. You know I hold you dear,
and be glad I'm spending Christmas, with Jesus Christ this year.

I send you each a special gift, from my heavenly home above,
I send you each a memory of my undying love.
After all "LOVE" is the gift more precious than pure gold.
It was always most important, in the stories Jesus told.

Please love and stay together, as our Father says to do,
for I can't count the blessings, or the love he has for you.
So, have a Merry Christmas and wipe away those tears,
for I am sharing Christmas, with Jesus Christ this year.

Stacy

You were gone.
Birds stopped chirping,
Children cried.
And few knew you.

Very few knew
The kindness.
They didnít see your pain.
Or know your love.

But we did.
We knew the gentleness,
The caring and warmth.
We felt your love.

Your smile lit our life
Our music was your laughter.
Your love warmed us
You gave us hope

God needed an Angel
And He called your name
We werenít ready
It was way to soon.

There is emptiness
Itís a little too quiet,
A little too dark
But we go on.

Your beautiful girls
Bring the music,
Remind us of your love
Warm our lives.

You will always
Be missed
Because we knew
Who you really were.

You will always live
Because we will
Never let them forget
Our AngelÖOur Stacy.

It seems such a shame that we may lose these beautiful tributes tomorrow. I suggest to Kat and Silver Fox that you save them somehow, and re-post them after tomorrow's repairs. I would really hate to see them lost.

See Bratt I've learned a lot this year. Count on yourself, because when you count on someone and it gets to a point where you really need them...they walk away. I know Im the only one that can pull myself up and out of this...I had a friend that taught me this.

He taught me to build a brick wall and hide behind it, taught me that you dont need friends...I learned well...that is exactly why I do the exact OPPOSITE. I know Ill survive because of my friends, family, faith and self...not necessarily in that order. I know with the support of those that love me Im gonna be just fine. Isnt it amazing how butterflies metamorphose into KAT. Oh yeah, just to let him know...if ya ever need a friend...you have one.
