For all those relatives that used to fill the tables at Family reunions at Sampson and the Glenn, and all over the State.
Most of them are gone now, but I hear echoes of golden days gone by when I was young ... and summer stretched forever.
I was hearing the echoes of them yesterday, brother. A song came on the radio that reminded "Master" of his Mom, and he told me how when he first heard it he cried like a baby, too soon after his Mom had passed. I told him I still cry like a baby, and next month it will be 19 years since Mom has been gone.
It seems a song always comes on the radio when we have an appt. concerning the baby that reminds us of our Moms. Last week it was "Holes in the Floor of Heaven". I smiled at "Master" and told him it was our Moms' way of letting us know they are watching over us.
