Has anyone ever heard of this?? You go in and make 6 recipes that will feed 4-6 people and take them home and freeze them. You have many pre-made meals you just heat up for those crazy evenings. It costs about $125.00. But it sounds like you save a lot of money too. You can divide up the meals any way that works for your family. I have friends who went this weekend and they swear by the place. They go to the one in Victor. There is a website too. I want to go next month. Every month has different recipes you can select from.

I haven't ever heard of that, but I've always thought that would be a great thing for a group of singles to do. It would break up that cooking (or not cooking) for one person and add a variety to life as well as be a social time. Thanks for sharing the website.

My wife said there was something like that going up in Auburn. I watched the video and it was interesting and I'm sure it is a good idea for some but couldnt you just do the same thing at your own house on a weekend? We do that now with pasta, meatballs, sauces and the such. Then during the week on a busy night we pop the frozen meals into the crockpot of oven or microwave... No fuss no muss.

Yeah but with a variety of menus you can learn new meals. Plus I have way too much housework as it is. With this you're in and out within 2 hours. Pop everything in the freezer. You have 6 choices of meals that don't have to be within the same genre of meal.

I don't see how your saving time if it takes two hours to prep these meals at the store, plus driving time, heating it up eating it and cleaning up afteryourself?

May I recommend a book called, I think it's called..."Dinner's in the Freezer" It came out about 8 or 10 years ago and I bet your library has it...Anyway, it really details how you can do your shopping basically once a month and by taking one weekend you prepare a month's worth of meals. I still use some of the techniques now that it's must me to take care of but back when I had a family to feed it was invaluable.

Now that makes sense. I used to do that when I lived solo before I got married.
