I am using a laptop for my trip and here is a picture of the mouse part on it. See the little ribbed part on the right side? Well, when you push your finger over it going up and down, it scrolls the page you are viewing. Now... I plugged in a regular mouse using the USB port cuz it is easier. Since then, when I do not have the regular mouse in, that one part of the built in mouse on the laptop stopped working. Can't scroll any more. I checked in "control Panel" where the mouse icon is but nothing there really for me to try to set it right. Anyone have a clue on what I am to do please?? Thanks

It's called a touchpad. Go to the website for the manufacturer of the laptop (Dell, Gateway, etc.)and download and install the newest touchpad driver for your model laptop. I had the same issue once and that fixed it no prob.
