TWENTY_SIX world championships. More then any other franchise as well as more then the next three best clubs( I read that somewhere i just cant remember where). And the best you can come up with is Celebrating six years of excuses??? Well I guess it could be worse... We could blame the lack of a championship on a curse but hey what kind of idiots would do something like that???

Come on Gio. He's talking about chimps and playing with what God gave you on the Red Sux thread. Does that sound like talk from a rational man? Give the man a break. He'll snap back if the Blowsox win a few!

Two days off to rest since that "monsterous" win against Tampx Bay!

Better somebody rub some "clear" on Demon's calf. There's an extra tube in 25's locker!

That is my thing against A-Rod....he wants the limelight, he wants the attention, he wants the glory, he is envious of Jeter, but when it comes time for him to make his mark, he just cant deliver. He is a very good player, but he needs to do something when the game is on the line and especially in the playoffs, and not when they have a big lead. It just seems that he cant handle the pressure it takes to get everything that he wants. JMO

Will everyone please get off his nuts now. No one can knock in every runner every time on base. Give the guy some slack and credit.

The point is now one comes through every time. Not Jeter, who left 6 on the same night arod left 3, not giambi who left 8 on that night, not even the Mick picked up every baserunner. In this lineup, you are going to come up with runners on base practically every time. And in a game when you are condsidered great when you succeed 3 out of every 10 times, it is hard to be that every time you come to the plate. I understand he has struggled in the playoffs. Guess what, so has 23 other yankees, because the only one that has performed in the past 2 post seasons has been the captain. Good lord, this is getting bad with the fact that every time a ball is hit to him, every time he swings, he is being criticized on whether he made the play, made the play, but didnt do it with enough flare, made contact, knocked a runner in, knocked a runner in but didnt hit the ball out.

Don't let the scorned Red Sux Fan get you down. A-Rod's been up twice with the bases loaded. One pop out, and one popped out of the park. Not a bad percentage. By the way his 4 HRs 11 RBI's and near .400 average have him well on his way for yet another MVP season. That's right big Plapi...you'll have to wait another year!
