I want to have a party for my sons 16th b-day, he is undecided if he wants one or not, so I have gotten together with a few of his friends to plan a surprise party, any suggestions on what to do will be helpful. It is so much easier to plan a 16th b-day for a girl I think, the whole sweet 16 thing. I figured and his friend did too, is do pizza and wings, do a cake and set up volleyball, can anyone think of anything else that a bunch (20-40) 15-16 yr olds can do? Thanks in advance

Depends on what his interests are. What is his personality like?

Make sure you have some music. Do they play cards? Kids mostly like to just "hang" so don't be surprised if they don't do much.

music..yes, that is what I figured they could all just hang out, I'll supply the food, they can supply the entertainment....lol I'm gonna set up the volleyball net and of course they have basketball, I guess the rest is up to them then. I just thought maybe someone had been thru this and had some ideas but you are probably right...they will "hang"!

1) couple of playing card decks and a few dollars worth of pennies (which is what we always used to play poker with)

2) food - food - food (they are teenage boys!)

3) volleyball and basketball is good - but with just having the world cup - maybe keep a soccer ball around? and a hackysac or 2?

my brothers were into RC cars so my dad always had they up and ready for the summer birthday parties - dont know if you know anyone with a couple but they are sure fun to play with!

Hire a stripper!

OMG! I saw a couple on a tv talk show that did that for their 16 year old sons party and the mother, because she's the on who hired the stripper, is now a registered sex offender because she allowed the stripper to get completely naked and dance and rub on all of the guests.
