Chinese. Mandarin. Simplified characters.

And I feel foolish. My brain slipped. "Pinyin" is the style of romanization I used.

ok Pinyin is the modern sucessor to the old Mandarin Chinese that was used before the fall of the Ch'ing Dynasty.
Sorry I know it is a different name, now but I grew up reading the older style as 'Ch'ing".
