What do you mop it with? Go online or call where if you know where the floors came from.

You need to go to a floor store and get the recommended product for your floor type.

I use the pledge mop wet wipes....not only does the orange scent make the house smell nice, it leaves no streaks!

Swiffer works fairly well - not the one that streams out the liquid, though. I know I have to be careful with my laminate - can't get too much liquid on the floor as it will seep thru and possibly mold and ruin the floor.

Lemon oil doesn't make it slippery?? I sometimes use this on my bannister and it takes a few days to soak in completly. Do you know if it would soak into laminate??

I don't know as Lemon Oil would work on laminate. I think only something that is porous (sp?) that will absorb it.

My floors are old and they looked terrible. I couldn't believe how nice lemon oil made them look. You are right, don't use this on your laminate floors.

Dottie, I think Walmart carries this product. I have used it and it was pretty good but not if the floor is too badly worn.

I did some research online, and I have read that either an amonia & water or vinegar & water solution can be used for damage-free cleaning. Different sites recommended one or the other. Has anyone used either solution & if so, how did it work? Any damage?

OOmpA,

USe a light spray of windex and a Swiffer mop. Go with the grain of the boards. Works wonderful.
