The REAL NY team!!!!

Hey Coach, You make the call: Bernie is hitting .350+ against K. Rogers/career. Does he take Sheffie's place? Should he have been somewhere in Joe's plan in the late innings yesterday??? Put your coaches hat on and fill us in!! LOL! Hint: The rest of the Spanks line up kill K-Rog/career (even the MVPooch) exp. for She-effie.

It's time for you to go back to the Drug rehab unit Wedg...it truly is over this year for your RED SUCKS......it's also time for you to come out of the closet when it comes to the Yanks. I wish I could feel your pain but my team doesn't make it a habit to consistantly LOSE................LOL. There is always next year for the ongoing saga of HOW CAN THE RED SUCKS MANAGE TO LOSE AGAIN.........recommended viewing...........ROFLMAO.

I ALWAYS enjoy a Yankme collapse in the postseason.

So far, I'm having a pretty good century.

If you can't root for your team, you gotta root against the Yanks. Wedgie knows that because he makes a habit of it. Nice T-shirt I saw at Yankee Stadium last week. "Hey Idiots, there was no curse...you just sucked for 86 years". How fitting for yet another year.

New York, N.Y. (AP) - A seven-year-old-boy was at the center of a Bronx
courtroom drama yesterday when he challenged a court ruling over who
should have custody of him. The boy has a history of being beaten by
his parents and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt, in
keeping with child custody law and regulations requiring that family unity be maintained to the degree possible.

The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that his aunt beat him
more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her. When
the judge then suggested that he live with his grandparents, the boy
cried out that they also beat him.

After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning
that domestic violence was apparently a way of life among them, the
judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who
should have custody of him.

After two recesses to check legal references and confer with child
welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to the New York Yankees, whom the boy firmly believes is not capable of beating anyone.

"Clueless Joe" may be a gonner;

Piniella next?
Report: Yanks expected to fire Torre if he doesn't quit
Posted: Sunday October 8, 2006 10:02AM; Updated: Sunday October 8, 2006 10:02AM

NEW YORK (AP) -- Yankees manager Joe Torre likely will be fired and replaced by Lou Piniella following another early exit from the playoffs, the New York Daily News reported Sunday.

According to sources the Daily News did not identify, Torre is expected to be fired unless he resigns first -- or team officials can talk owner George Steinbrenner out of making the move.

On Saturday, the Yankees were eliminated from the first round of the AL playoffs, losing to Detroit 8-3 in Game 4. It was the second straight year New York lost in the opening round.

The Yankees have won the World Series four times under Torre, most recently in 2000. They had a record $200 million payroll this year and matched the New York Mets for the best record in the regular season.

The Yankees have made the playoffs in all 11 years that Torre has been their manager. They have won nine straight AL East titles.

The 66-year-old Torre has one year and $7 million left on his contract.

Piniella is a former Yankees star and managed them in 1986-87 and for most of 1988. He guided Cincinnati to the 1990 World Series title and later managed Seattle and Tampa Bay.

The 63-year-old Piniella took a year off from managing last season.

Yankee Radio Broadcaster Susan Waldman, following last nights' defeat of the Yanks:

"...this was a greater loss to this franchise than the 4 in a row the Sox took in '04...."

LOL!

The Yankees lost and they will make their changes. Torre, Arod, Sheffield, and some others may, or may not be there next year. The pitching staff will need some work. Johnson sucks and Mussina is getting old. They will win their division once again, leaving the Red Sucks and the rest of the Yankee wannabees far behind. George will give them that. Can't say that for any of the other sorry ass owners who would rather put the money in their pockets. The Yankees will rise again and I will be there rooting for them! GO TIGERS!!!!!
PS: The Red Sox are in for a long playoff drought so get used to it!

And he takes full credit for that. No excuses! He'll be back to put the Blosox in their place again next year. I hope Big Papi rests his back this offseason. He's going to need it to carry them sad sox again next year. On to FOOTBALL!
