I am a Bill's fan and was impressed with the first game. Defense looks great (no surprise) and Loseman looked good. They have to find the end zone when they get to the red zone if they want to be a contender this year. By the way, Houston looked pretty bad.

I don't think it was Houston's defense that did much of anything to stop the Bills. They have a QB throw for 70 yard,3 picks and a fumble!!! Also a running back with only 50 total yards and 2 fumbles. Their defense had one sack the entire game with no turnovers. I'd say that houston did nothing to hold the Bill to FG's, the Bills held themselves. Houston looked BAD!

5 field goals and only 1 offensive touchdown against the lowly Texans...........I wouldn't get to excited after game one....lets see how they do against a real NFL team!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't get me wrong I'm a Bills fan. Losman looked good, but with some more experience, I'm really hoping things will get much better, as far as getting in the end zone. I just felt they should have gotten more TDs than they did fieldgoals. Not to shabby for their 1st game, GO BILLS

WOOHOO! a wins a win.. I agree, they need to punch that sucker into the end zone a lot better than they did yesterday. At Tampa Bay Sunday.. that should be a good test.

NOT a Bills fan but curious of your choice of "a REAL football team", SR1.

I'll just speculate that SR1 is referring to the Texans "newness" in the league, last year 7-9, the year before
5-11, the (first)year before?? Just a thought.

Shaud got the call Sunday thats for sure, but I expected Joe Burns he's listed next on the depth chart, and is bigger than Shaud and has more experience??
Loinal Gates is the rookie listed 4th on the chart and he's bigger than both Joe and Shaud, and the same size as Willis!

Losman good, but remember the Texans lost a huge part of there secondary to the cowboys (long live bill parcells). So his preformance may not of been challenge, what little defense the Texans have scraped together in the past has downgraded, they have a horrible offense that relys too much of Domanick Davis in the first who in my opinion isn't a great back in the first place. He has his moments but nothing where he can be a run heavy guy.

The Bills on the other hand are looking good in enough areas to make a possible wildcard apperance if they can stay consistant, but its way too early to judge them especially after there first game was against a substandard team. They would need to have the power defense everyweek and McGahee everyweek aswell, they don't have any depth at RB to lose him, and any passing depth to go to a pass heavy offense.

If the Bills employ a pass heavy offense and limit it to a "West Coast" style (look short and hope for lots of YAK) they should be successful. I expect them to adopt a style simlar to Pittsburgh last year and Baltimore's when they had Dilfer at the helm. That is, the game is not on the QB's shoulders. Look to your defense to "win" games.

Good test at TB today.

LET'S GO BUFFALO!!!

Don't get too excited about the Bills yet. Last week was not that impressive a win. The offense wasn't that impressive. As people have stated they will have to rely on the D.
