FDR, stated "The only thing to fear is fear itself" Sounded rather profound at that time but later realizing that Germany & Japan were our arch enemies and we paid dearly for that lack of knowledge. Today we are reaping the repercussion of Trump's lies which will negatively impact us for years to come.

If that sounds like Nazi Germany and Adolf Hitler, it's because that is where we are. The attack on the Capitol was our Reichstag fire, our Kristallnacht. The offices they looted and the glass they broke was in the Capitol. But what they really broke was our hearts.
Hopefully not quite, if our democracy remains intact, though be it, contains many cracks. You note a great amount of similarities though, Hitler's intent was to desecrate Jews by which he succeed to the tune of 6 million. What we witness on Capitol Hill is very reminiscent of the goons Hitler dispatched., motivated by hate, racism and shear ignorance. I'm eternally grateful for the Whites who value my life and self worth.
