And they'll never have to pay a dime. So, if you have a problem with that, you can take it up with the US federal government for unilaterally changing the terms of Indian treaties in order to again screw them over, and unintentionally in the process rendering any such judgement utterly unenforcible. They simply have NO authority to force compliance.

Go, Karma!

You'll also notice how the one living in the information vacuum has conveniently ignored the fact that I addressed the only relevant point of that post with the only meaningful conclusion pertaining to the ultimate and indisputable facts of the matter. whistle

The only games being played here are by the homophobic, racist t**ds [trolls] who post "Happy Columbus Day" on a thread exclusively dedicated to Native American (tribal) News, and by the like-minded lackeys who encourage them.

How odd that you blame the targets of your infantile attacks for that which is the true reason for the usual parade of assorted sycophants being banned in the first place. You only have yourselves to blame

Oh yeah, and by the way... nice job "ignoring."

Thanks for proving my point. Now quit derailing the thread topic with your childishness.

Huge Win for Standing Rock and the National Environmental Policy Act.

Today, in a major win against the Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL), Judge James Boasberg of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia determined that the pipeline remains “highly controversial” under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), found that the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers had not “adequately discharged its duties under that statute,” and ordered the Army Corps to prepare a full Environmental Impact Statement (EIS).

Big difference. In Oklahoma it was all federal land to begin with many years before Oklahoma even became a state. The McGirt case did not allot any land, only jurisdiction under the Major Crimes Act.
In New York it was all State land to begin with and the Sherrill ruling stands.

McGirt changed all the land law back to the Constitution and brought back the balance. There were cases preceding McGirt which made this case set precedents which are not obvious. I'm not going to elaborate.
