This is too funny. Womack (son of Knoblak) is playing LF?

Stick a fork in it! There done!

Bernie as the DH is still better than Giambi at 1st and not hitting AND Matsui not hitting (or bunting) HEH-HEH!!!!

Lose 11-4 to the Rays. Want to bet Kevin Brown goes on the DL tomorrow with some excuse? He'll probably go home in the contractually provided private jet he gets from the Yankees (inherited from his Dodger contract).

I had my suspicions !

*************************************

Accurate analogy: The Yankees are something like an old car, you can keep putting more money into it to keep it running, but it will never be reliable again and you’ll always worry about it breaking down.

With free agency and George’s money, it shouldn’t take that long to recover, but we may have to endure a few non-playoff seasons (brings smile to wedggie's face) to allow the team and farm system to be re-built.

Historically, as in, this happens every year, the Yankees stumble early and everyone else looks like world beaters. I think it is fantastic that they are challanged and everyone is taking pot shots at Yankees fans. It will make it all that sweeter when the tables are turned and everyone else is looking up.

Gio, let the Yankee haters have their hey day while it lasts. The Yanks deserve every slamma jamma they're getting to date!

Now, in an effort to level the ship from Mussina today.

A performance like this from a starter is exactly what this team needed. Hopefully, Brown can get his head out of his derierre and follow Moose's lead tomorrow.

Strong pitching cures all ills.

Two shut outs in a row?!?!?

Moose and K. Brown (making $34.5M/yr combined) have convinced me that they are on their way to earning it. NOT!!
