Yesterday President Obama read a book and got a million likes on a tweet – two things that Donald Trump can’t do. For his part, Trump spent the day obsessively trying to hype his imaginary “Obamagate” scandal, while demanding that Obama be called to testify to Congress about said imaginary scandal. Even Trump’s lapdog Lindsey Graham quickly acknowledged that his committee wasn’t going to ask Obama to testify. Not only has Donald Trump picked the wrong fight, he’s done it at the wrong time. The exceedingly unpopular Trump is pointing at one of the most popular people in the country and saying “either you’re with him or you’re with me.” Most Americans are going to choose Obama over Trump without a second thought. The fact that Trump is picking this weird battle during a deadly pandemic and an economic collapse, instead of doing his job, makes it even more of a no-win proposition for him. At least when Trump made up fake scandals back in the 2016 election cycle, they were about his actual opponents, and they were about people he thought he could actually gain points by smearing. What we’re seeing now is a reminder that, in addition to everything that was psychologically wrong with Trump back then, he’s now also suffering from cognitive problems. He’s too far gone to understand that feuding with Obama like this is a bad idea. Yet Donald Trump is as psychotic as ever, so he still sits around fuming all day about how he’ll never be as popular or respected as President Obama.

President Donald Trump's approval rating reached its highest point in three years Tuesday as his administration continues to battle the coronavirus pandemic, according to a new poll.
The CNN poll conducted by SSRS, an independent research company, found that 45 percent of respondents approve of the way Trump is handling his job, while 51 percent disapprove and 4 percent had no opinion. The poll surveyed 1,112 people and had a margin of error of plus or minus 3.7 percent.
Trump's approval rating has hit 45 percent only one other time during his presidency, and that was less than two months after he took office in 2017. That poll showed the president had a 45 percent approval rating, with 52 percent disapproving, on March 5, 2017.
The new CNN poll showed that 42 percent of people believe the federal government is doing a good job at preventing the spread of the novel coronavirus in the United States. That rating is down from a CNN poll result in early March, in which 49 percent said the federal government was doing a good job in combating the pandemic while 43 percent said it was doing a poor job.

What you can learn on Fox News! https://www.rawstory.com/2020/05/eric-tr...ar-in-november/Eric Trump predicts COVID-19 is a conspiracy against his dad that will ‘magically’ disappear in November“And guess what, after November 3rd, coronavirus will magically all of the sudden go away and disappear and everybody will be able to reopen,” he predicted.
“They’re trying to deprive him of his greatest asset, which is the fact that the American people love him, the fact that he’s relatable, and the fact that he can go out there and draw massive crowds,” he argued.
In the segment, his claims about his father’s crowd sizes and popularity were both exaggerated.
