‘He has a lot of vitriol for them’: Omarosa says Trump has a particular ‘disdain’ for women of colorOmarosa Manigault Newman revealed in an interview Sunday that President Donald Trump has a very serious problem when it comes to women of color.
She was asked if she ever heard Trump tell a white person to “go back” to their country of origin. She said she’s never heard it in all of hear years on “The Apprentice,” during the campaign or at the White House.
“He reserves that only for people of color,” she said. “You’ll notice, Rev, that he particularly has a lot of animosity and disdain for women of color. From Maxine Waters, to myself, to reporters who criticize him who are women of color. He has a lot of vitriol for them.”
“A combination of race and gender that really makes him go off,” Sharpton remarked. “Now, do you think this is an unrehearsed just this is who he is or is there a political strategy to this?”
She went on to say that this is all part of a political strategy that the campaign thinks will be a win for them. However, she said she doesn’t understand how any Republican can support someone who says these things.
“I think it’s very difficult for any Republican, black, white, or purple, to support a president who has spewed these ugly racial slurs and continues to attack women of color in Congress, women of color who served him,” Newman said.

MSNBC’s Morning Joe drops the hammer on Trump’s ‘mob’: A ‘new level of racism’MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough said President Donald Trump believes the four Democratic congresswomen he’s been attacking aren’t capable of being fully American because they’re not white.
The “Morning Joe” host said Trump’s recent attacks on those first-year lawmakers had followed a familiar pattern, but Scarborough warned the president had taken those racist provocations to a new level by suggesting that people of color aren’t capable of loving their country.
“They’re not white,” Scarborough said. “Clearly, (he) is suggesting (because) they’re not white, they’re foreign, even though they’re not, and also, very interesting in that press conference — that presser when the president said, ‘They’re just lucky to be where they are.’ That’s Donald Trump saying, you know what? Given that they’re women and they’re from Somalia or from wherever, Detroit, from Cincinnati, regardless, they’re just lucky to be where they are.”
Scarborough said the president and his “mob” of supporters were feeding off one another’s hatred and fear, and he said things were only getting worse.
“We were predicting what was going to happen,” he said. “Like Charlottesville, he condemns and then he backs up, and then he condemns and then he backs up and backs up. He did exactly what you said he was going to do this weekend. Just like he did with Charlottesville, and it reminds me also of right before Super Tuesday, when he said he would not condemn the Ku Klux Klan because he knew nothing about them, didn’t know David Duke, and then he said it was an earpiece (malfunction).”
“This is what he does all the time,” Scarborough added, “but he usually ends up on the most racist position possible, and that’s what he’s done here, too. By the way, he’s turned it up, he’s turned it up a notch — the racism and the hatred and the nativism and the xenophobia. This isn’t just — this isn’t ‘Groundhog’s Day,’ this is a new level of racism and hatred, brought to you by Donald Trump and the Republicans who enable him.”

Trump’s disordered personality fits into a disturbing historical patternI wasn’t surprised by Donald Trump’s rage-tweet attack on Reps. Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Rashida Tlaib, any more than I was surprised by the maturity and sobriety of their response. After all, Trump’s racism is legendary, and telling them to “go back where you came from” is not just textbook racism, it’s a schoolyard bully’s taunt. And a racist schoolyard bully is the sum and substance of what Trump is.
In fact, one expert, physician and psychiatrist Dr. Frederick “Skip” Burkle, told me that autocratic leaders typically have histories of being bullies, and that that the most important thing about them that the public needs to understand. I first contacted Burkle by way of counselor and therapist Elizabeth Mika, whose chapter in “The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump” explained that “Tyrannies are three-legged beasts”: the tyrant, his supporters and the society as a whole. That perspective is vital to understand our specific predicament, which is historically unique only within our national borders.
