A study conducted by the Detroit-based Henry Ford Health System has determined that hydroxychloroquine treatment lowers the death rate for COVID-19 patients.
Officials with Henry Ford Health announced on Thursday that their study has shown that hydroxychloroquine “significantly” decreases the death rate of COVID-19 sufferers. They came to their conclusion after analyzing 2,541 patients who were confined in their hospital system from March 10 and May 2. They found that 13 percent of patients treated with hydroxychloroquine died while 26 percent of patients who did not receive the miracle drug died.
“As doctors and scientists, we look to the data for insight,” said Steven Kalkanis, CEO of the Henry Ford Medical Group. “And the data here is clear that there was a benefit to using the drug as a treatment for sick, hospitalized patients.”

“At this point I only want to hear about bare knuckle resistance machinations,” Marwick wrote in response to an anti-Trump tweet by Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA). “Snatch up some GOPs kids in Brooklyn basements or something.”
Marwick has recently made his account private, but the post was archived by RedState’s Brandon Morse courtesy of independent journalist Nick Monroe.

The mainstream media falsely reported that President Donald Trump confused the setting of ‘Operation Desert Storm,’ a military name for the 1990 Gulf War, during a July 4th speech on the White House lawn on Sunday. The media accused President Trump of falsely stating that Desert Storm was a military operation that took place during the Vietnam War.
Liberals associated with political organizations such as the Lincoln Project and media groups such as PoliticusUSA displayed edited video clips and made dishonest claims that the President had conflated Operation Desert Storm and the Vietnam war, hoping to score a partisan political point.

 Bolivar beachgoers ignoring County Judge’s orders
It appears that beachgoers on Bolivar Peninsula are ignoring orders from Galveston County Judge Mark Henry. He declared on Thursday that no vehicular traffic would be allowed on the sand over the Independence Day weekend, from Friday through Monday. Also during that same time period, the judge ordered that pedestrians would only be allowed on the beach from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. each day.
However, on Friday KJAS reader Sherrie Thomas said the beach had been cluttered with traffic throughout the day, and she sent us a photo showing vehicles, ATV’s, and golf carts.
Judge Henry’s order came a day after Galveston Mayor Jim Yarbrough completely shut down not only all beaches along the island, but also barred parking along Seawall Boulevard.
Both Mayor Yarbrough and Judge Henry cited rising numbers of Coronavirus in Galveston County as the reason to try to keep people from clustering along the beaches.
The Galveston County Daily News quoted Yarbrough as saying “I have no qualms or second thoughts, It’s the right thing to do for public health.”
Henry’s order was initially a complete shutdown of the beaches just like the City of Galveston.
