She was an administrator for the water and sewer districts. It was a temporary appointment. She was Hourly. So what her annual income was I'm unsure of. This was a question of a part time employee getting a county vehicle.

Look her up. Seethroughny.com it will tell you her total. You still won't comment on a part time employee receiving a county vehicle. That's a $10,000 a year stipend.

It would be, unless you have a bunch of extra vehicles sitting in your parking lot not being used.

Are you talking about all those vehicles leased by the former County Manager from Enterprise?

If so, I agree, the County is paying for them might as well use them.

But, I have to wonder, why so many?

why don't you ask the department heads who request them. Besides they are leased so why does the new county manager keep them ?

Roy Gates is running the Highway Department, part-time, which does require a vehicle.

Sam Priem is the water and sewer administrator.

Because the former County Manager, with approval of the BOS, signed a 5 year contract. Hopefully, someone will figure out if it was a smart idea and cost effective before it comes up for renewal.

It would seem that your friend on the BOS is withholding information from you about the cost savings realized so far. grin

Shouldn't the savings in leasing opposed to buying be shared with the taxpayers who are footing the bill? Don't be vague with your comments. If we are saving money, I'm all for it. I want the numbers tho.

Good to see that Chuckies personal attack comments were removed.

He is a clear insider and is very defensive whenever anyone is critical of County decisions over the past couple of years.

you have it backwards don't you ? I am not the one who is critical but if that's the way you see it, have at it. And ah, none of my comments have been removed.

I know grand juries are secret, but has anyone heard anything? Has it met?
