When I matured into an understanding of how representative democracy works, I adopted the position that the Republican Party, while promoting ideas and approaches I mostly disagreed with, were vital and necessary parts of the dialogue our founding fathers empowered. And I hoped, and saw signs to believe, that many thoughtful Republicans had a similar view of Democrats.
The Founders must be weeping in their graves as what seems like the entire Republican Party sets about destroying our representative structures and nonpartisan, carefully developed rule of law to promote the interests and preferences of a Chief Executive who is candid in his wish to be a dictator.
Not a dialogue any more. This is wholesale treachery, and the architects of it are philosophically if not literally committing treason.
I pray daily for wisdom and clarity among the American citizenry, that they will begin the process of casting this load of moneylenders out of our temple as soon as possible. Very eloquent, as we observe the lack of action to contain Trump's mannerism and speech, we're reminded of a dictator back in the late 30s and early 40s who deemed himself superior and decided that the genocide of said groups were in order...left unchecked, don't say that we won't see history repeat itself in some mild or catastrophic form. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/poli...oing/617762002/

ARE THEY THAT BLIND? DON'T THEY SEE THE SIMILARITIES WITH HITLER? DON'T THEY TEACH HISTORY IN SCHOOL ANY MORE?
