I tried to read the FLTimes online this morning; apparently they haven't renewed their domain registration. If they're ending the e-edition I'm done with them.

Probably a glitch in their quest to further gouge the reader.

Worry not.

If I have my facts correct, the FLT has changed its access to a metered system. The first four articles are free; the next four require registration and after that, you pay per article or simply subscribe. The e-edition is available only to paid subscribers. To offset these changes, they're increasing the amount of content available.

So, as long as you're willing to pay (as with any newspaper), you're good-to-go.

My advice is, if you ever have issues with any aspect of the newspaper or how it operates, you'd be better served by contacting the editor himself. If they don't hear from their customers, you have only yourself to blame for your dissatisfaction. Your feedback matters.

Online hit-and-run. Brilliant.

On a more helpful note:

I have a pay account. The site is down.

Yup. Renewal glitch.

Problem has been addressed but will be roughly 18-24 hours before it goes live again.

You can now read the entire Tuesday, Jan 30th paper online if you are a paid subscriber. It is often available in the wee hours of the morning.

do you also get the paper copy delivered to your home?

one would think that if a customer only gets the e-edition that the price should be slightly lower as there are no printing or delivery costs for the e-edition when compared to the paper copy version
