Woman charged with passing phony $100 bills throughout Newark
Newark Village Police reported the warrant arrests on Monday (10/16) of Estermarie D. Jones, age 27, of 414 Orange Street in the City of Rochester. Jones was charged with seven counts of Possession of a Forged Instrument in the First Degree; six counts of Scheme to Defraud in the Second Degree and six counts of Petit Larceny.
It is alleged that beginning on April 8th of this year, Jones began passing counterfeit $100 bills throughout the Newark area.
Jones, currently on parole, was picked up at Ontario County Court where she was held on similar charges from Geneva. She was arraigned on the Newark charges and released to reappear in Newark Court on November 15th.WayneTimes.com October 21, 2017
