IPD makes arrest in Grand Larceny investigation
ITHACA– The Ithaca Police Department has announced an arrest related to a recent case of felony Grand Larceny.
On August 31st, the IPD responded to a robbery complaint on the 100 block of North Cayuga Street. The victim in the incident said they were meeting the suspect there in order to sell them a purse, and while showing the purse to the suspect had it pulled away. The suspect then fled the area on foot, leaving the victim unharmed.
On Wednesday, a 16-year old male from Ithaca was arrested in connection to the robbery and charged with felony Grand Larceny. The alleged suspect was processed and released on an appearance ticket to return to Ithaca City Court on September 13th.STORY © 2017 WHCU
