If you have been watch the video of the meetings held by the Seneca Falls Environmental Action Committee you would remember them asking for volunteers to help them understand the basic means to figure out the town budget process. They also asked for people to help them understand town law. They have proven that they have little to no knowledge of DEC and EPA regulations, State law or even town laws for that matter. Not one of them has run a business. So unless you think that their background somehow makes them qualified and being against the landfill makes them qualified this election should be a no brainer.
So, asking questions makes one unqualified?? I am thinking they want to know the process that is in place to see if there is any short comings, an oversight, or something that can be improved upon.
I would say that the basic means of figuring out a budget is not to depend on your crack dealer (the dump) for money (trash crack) and/or advice. We all know SF is addicted to the trash crack from Stank Meadows and SM will say anything that is going to benefit their bottom line. Do you think crack dealers are looking out for the best interest of their customers!?
You don't have to be a lawyer, accountant, or a specialist in environmental issues to be on the town board. I would say his 6 years of education beyond high school is one good selling point. I would say the fact that he lives in the area is another. Unlike DonG(entilcore) who said he cared about the area and was a community man and then bailed when the stink became too much. And no, I don't think education is everything but I do think it says a lot about a person. Hard work that involves sweat also says a lot about a person as well.
