Ithaca suffers from serious wage inequality

In studying data from across the nation, economists at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York concluded that Ithaca is the only region in upstate New York where wage inequality is higher than the national average.

Meanwhile, for much of the rest of upstate, wage inequality falls below the national average.
