Cry baby Trump is so incensed, insulted and incredulous about the White House dinner held Saturday night but as we've said for two years, this man is the very anatomy of adolescence, child like behavior and what not to say in regard to people's character, looks, color, race, gender, personal beliefs etc. Guess who now construes himself as the moral compass in terms of "going over the line"? You got it!!!!!!!
whistle

Monday morning reports from the Conservative side is indignation but hypocritically so, they're acceptably quiet as Trump embarrasses himself, the media and most of all, the moral threshold which was established decades ago...I guess that he has special dispensation to speak and act otherwise.

OMG. ROFLMAO

https://thinkprogress
.org/matt-schlapp-whcd-journalists-trump-lies-0cc6bb5ad2b3/

During an interview on CNN on Monday, frequent Fox News guest and American Conservative Union chairman Matt Schlapp made a case that it is not the job of journalists to inform the public when the president or his spokespeople are lying.

Instead, Schlapp suggested journalists should just provide stenography of what government officials are saying, and let the American people do their best to sort out who is telling the truth — because otherwise the feelings of Trump supporters might get hurt.

thank you John McCain for showing once again what a moron/idiot we have for president as his key staff says in private.

https://www.cnn.com/2018/04/30/politics/...ress/index.html

Republican Sen. John McCain, who is battling brain cancer in his home state of Arizona, says in his new book that his current term is his last and, as a result, he feels he can open up about how he sees the current political climate.
"This is my last term. If I hadn't admitted that to myself before this summer, a stage 4 cancer diagnosis acts as ungentle persuasion," he wrote in his book, "The Restless Wave," according to the excerpt published on Apple News on Monday. "I'm freer than colleagues who will face the voters again. I can speak my mind without fearing the consequences much. And I can vote my conscience without worry."

Referring to President Donald Trump, McCain wrote, "He has declined to distinguish the actions of our government from the crimes of despotic ones. The appearance of toughness, or a reality show facsimile of toughness, seems to matter more than any of our values."

McCain said he wants to see the nation's politics "return to the purposes and practices that distinguish our history" and says, "you're damn right, I'm a champion of compromise."

"I would like to see us recover our sense that we are more alike than different," he wrote. "We are citizens of a republic made of shared ideals forged in a new world to replace the tribal enmities that tormented the old one. Even in times of political turmoil such as these, we share that awesome heritage and the responsibility to embrace it."

John has always been my hero even when I've disagreed with him sometimes, which is what politics should be about, compromise.

Trump said the press was the enemy of the people. In my opinion that is the most outrageous statement he has said of his many outrageous statements. John McCain pushed back strongly on that. If our democracy survives, which I am not totally sure of at this point, John McCain deserves a lot of credit for his comments.

Is there any level of lies told by Trump before he loses support? This is appalling.

It's noted that even Trump knows of an impending impeachment for the fact that Ty Cobb is out and a impeachment lawyer (Bill Clinton's lawyer) is now in.

What were the impeachment charges against Clinton? We can easily and emphatically state that Trump is looking at numerous and multi faceted charges which are well strategized and planned out adverse to politicized Republican lead ploy to remove a Democratic President for getting a little female action. Bottom line, if you can start impeachment proceedings due to sex with one young women, what are Trump's chances when sex is the least of his worry?

Excerpt but please read the entire article, it's enlightening to say the least:

The Justice Department’s Inspector General, Michael Horowitz, will soon release a much-anticipated assessment of Democratic and Republican charges that officials at the FBI interfered in the 2016 presidential campaign. That year-long probe, sources familiar with it tell TIME, is expected to come down particularly hard on former FBI director James Comey, who is currently on a high-profile book tour. It will likely find that Comey breached Justice Department protocols in a July 5, 2016, press conference when he criticized Hillary Clinton for using a private email server as Secretary of State even as he cleared her of any crimes, the sources say. The report is expected to also hit Comey for the way he reopened the Clinton email probe less than two weeks before the election, the sources say.

The report closely follows an earlier one in April by Horowitz, which showed that the ousted deputy director of the FBI, Andrew McCabe, had lied to the bureau’s internal investigations branch to cover up a leak he orchestrated about Clinton’s family foundation less than two weeks before the election. (The case has since been referred to the U.S. Attorney’s office in Washington, D.C., for potential prosecution.) Another IG report in March found that FBI retaliation against internal whistle-blowers was continuing despite years of bureau pledges to fix the problem. Last fall, Horowitz found that the FBI wasn’t adequately investigating “high-risk” employees who failed polygraph tests.

https://www.npr.org/2018/05/07/608649799/republican-fears-about-holding-the-senate-start-to-sink-in

Democrats are going into the 2018 elections with the wind at their backs, which could even be enough to flip a Senate map heavily stacked for Republicans come November.

In conversations with several top GOP strategists, nearly all conceded that the overwhelming Democratic enthusiasm they're facing this November is incredibly worrisome. Most still think it's a better than even chance that they do keep the Senate — albeit narrowly — but it's no longer out of the realm of possibility that the upper chamber could change hands, especially given the volatility of the GOP's two-seat majority.
Politics

"Generally speaking, close races aren't won by the party with the wind in their face. That's not the way it works," said one top GOP Senate race veteran. "If we lose 40 to 50 seats in the House, you can't pick up three to four Senate seats."

"If we hold the Senate, I think it will be close. It will be closer than it should be when the cycle started," said another longtime Republican Senate operative. "There's no question it's far more in play than it was a year ago."

Moreover, lackluster fundraising as of late from GOP challengers and stronger-than-expected hauls from Democratic incumbents has further stoked worry among Republicans.

Are you listening Donald? You are the biggest problem Melania is talking about! Are you too blind to see that?

***********************************************

the platform pillars she revealed during her 10-minute speech in the White House Rose Garden include well-being, encompassing healthy living as well as emotional health; opioid abuse, including bringing awareness to neonatal abstinence syndrome and emphasizing the importance of healthy pregnancy; and social media, where Trump plans to encourage kids to use the internet in positive ways, tamping down cyberbullying and negativity.

The last of these issues has been a lightning rod of controversy for Trump, whose husband is perhaps one of the most public, and prolific, offenders of name-calling on Twitter.

Sitting in the front row, feet from his wife at the podium, the President listened as the first lady cautioned against using the very behavior Trump displays, sometimes on a daily basis.
"As we all know, social media can both positively and negatively affect our children. But too often, it is used in negative ways," said Trump. "When children learn positive online behaviors early on, social media can be used in productive ways and can affect positive change."

Trump acts exactly like Hitler. He just doesn't praise him. And most Republicans have no problems with supporting Trump!

https://www.yahoo.com/news/senate-candidate-praises-adolph-hitler-081245724.html

A California Republican candidate for U.S. Senate who praises Adolf Hitler and believes Jewish representation in government should be limited was booted from the state’s GOP convention on Saturday.

Orrin Hatch says that it's 'ridiculous' for McCain to block Trump from his funeral.

No, you imbecile, it's ridiculous that you think an American hero like Mccain doesn't have the right to dictate who attends.

"don't pay attention to the man behind the curtain" even Toto had more sense then some Trump supporters today, watch how they protect him as you and criticize the real fake. tick tick tick

As long as we are going to build a big! wall and keep the immigrants out, they're ecstatic.

CNN political analyst Kirsten Powers says if Donald Trump's personal lawyer Michael Cohen accepted hundreds of thousands of dollars from a company linked to a Russian oligarch, the best case scenario is that Cohen participated in the "swampiest of swampy" behavior.
