Former Twitter CEO Dick Costolo apparently isn't a fan of President Trump -- nor his meetings.

In fact, Costolo equates attending one of the president's meetings to physical torture.

In response to a tweet Friday night about an unconfirmed upcoming White House meeting with tech leaders -- similar to the one the president hosted in December -- Costolo wrote, "If you don't get invited to this meeting and want to know what it was like, just drink a bottle of gin and then waterboard yourself."

And in March, Costolo tweeted, "Trump is such a wimp. He cowers from any fight, points fingers in a loss but takes credit for any win. A coward, a loser, a two-bit punk."

If Costolo was a Russian and said this about Putin he would be in jail or dead. Trumps says Putin is a great leader and smart. Is it that hard to connect the dots?

Has a senator who is the same party as the president ever told the president to "knock it off" with regard to any subject matter? I am sure this has never happened before.

http://www.cbsnews.com/news/graham-trump-own-worst-enemy/

Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-South Carolina, told President Trump that he is his "own worst enemy" when it comes to tweets that Graham says feed a "lynch mob" mentality in the press.

"All I can say is there's a lynch mob mentality about the Trump administration in the press," Graham said Sunday on CBS News' "Face the Nation." "They're about as fair as a lynch mob. But these tweets that he does feeds that lynch mob. You're your own worst enemy here, Mr. President. Knock it off."

Graham said he sees "no evidence" that the president colluded with the Russians to influence the 2016 election.

"He can't collude with his own government, why do you think he's colluding with the Russians?" Graham said.

But Graham also said Congress will pass a bill this week to "punish" Russia for meddling in American politics and politics across the globe. There is "overwhelming evidence that Russia is trying to destroy democracy here and abroad."

"We're gonna' punish the Russians," Graham said, adding that if the president doesn't sign the bill he would be "betraying democracy."

The UK is supposed to be our strongest ally. This is just so disgusting.

Two senior administration officials told New York Times reporter Glenn Thrush on Sunday that President Donald Trump’s visit to the United Kingdom is currently off the president’s schedule.

That report follows a story in The Guardian that said Trump’s U.K. trip had been put “on hold” after he told British Prime Minister Theresa May he was worried about being met with mass street protests.

As seen on Hannity

Mike Huckabee slammed "fake news" and media criticisms of President Trump.

Huckabee said that mainstream news outlets slant their coverage in repeated attempts to make the president look bad.

"If Donald Trump ran into a burning building and ran out of that burning building and saved them, the New York Times headline would read "Donald Trump runs from historic structure as it burns to the ground," he said.

Huckabee said the Times has gone from being a "biased media to a corrupt media."

Never have we had a president who made such outrageous statements as this guy. How do you report real news on an idiot like this?

http://www.cnn.com/2016/01/23/politics/donald-trump-shoot-somebody-support/index.html

Donald Trump boasted Saturday that support for his presidential campaign would not decline even if he shot someone in the middle of a crowded street. "I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn't lose voters," Trump said at a campaign rally here.

How do you report news on a guy like this? Should you sugarcoat it or tell it like it is?

http://www.bbc.com/news/election-us-2016-37595321

US presidential candidate Donald Trump has been forced to apologise after a video emerged in which he made obscene comments about women.

In the footage, revealed by the Washington Post, Mr Trump is heard bragging to TV host Billy Bush about trying to have sex with a married woman. The clip, from 2005, was part of unaired footage ahead of Mr Trump's appearance on US soap opera Days of Our Lives.

How conservatives betrayed virtue for Donald Trump

In the 1990s, as President Clinton’s scandals unfolded, conservatives insisted that character mattered and worried deeply and often loudly about the toxic effects of our politics on the culture. What message, they asked, were we sending our children?

So, what is the message now?

Consider the problems of raising children in in an era in which our most famous role model is President Trump. As parents, we struggle to teach our children empathy and compassion. We hope to teach them character, humility, impulse control, kindness and good sportsmanship. We want them to learn how to win and lose graciously, treat others with respect, avoiding name-calling, and tell the truth even if it’s inconvenient.

Good luck with that now.

Young people only need to flip the channel to see what success looks like in America today. Whatever we tell them, young people have a keen sense of what traits or behaviors are rewarded and celebrated. They have an acute sense of the hypocrisy of a society that touts virtue but lavishes fame, wealth and power on people who flout them.

Especially for young men still searching for a model of what it means to be a man, Trump’s behavior will carry significant weight. And why not? He may be a bully, a fabulist, a serial insulter and abuser of women, but our alpha-male president is a billionaire, married to a super model, and has been elevated to the most powerful job in the world. That is a powerful symbol because for many young men, Trump is both liberating and revolutionary: freeing them from the demands of civility and what many of them see as overly feminized hypersensitivity.

I know the word politician has a negative connotation. Elected official sounds much better. So Trump is now an elected official. I have never seen an elected official who tells so many lies. I am proud to be a liberal and all of us are horrified of how little he understands about how democracy works. He would sure love to be a dictator like his buddy Putin. I hope he doesn't get the chance to be a dictator in the USA but we have to keep fighting hard to stop that small chance from happening.

Trump has been a dictator his whole life in his big business that he ran like a small business with no board of directors, no shareholders. His word was the law. He could say your fired and you were gone. As Bill Ryan says, he is new at this. Never did I think we would say on-the-job-training for a president!

Both sides are full of hate. The biggest reason for the hate is Trump promoting violence during the campaign.
