Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.
The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.
Faith is taking the first step even when you don't see the whole staircase.

Martin Luther King Jr.

Fifty years later, Martin's words are even more relevant because we have before us a Nation enveloped in scandals, deception and lies being led by the GOP who have unilaterally taken the country down a path of total destruction by means of a deceptive election which places a crook scandalous man in the White House, collusion with a foreign dictatorship, lies have become the norm from every tweet he offers, the GOP attempt to rob citizens of their right to privacy yet cries foul when they are legally investigated. The attempt to repeal healthcare even the majority wants to stay in place is being ignored, The GOP will change the rule to place at will any candidate of their liking irrespective of the feeling of the majority. Where will our Democracy be while the Republicans systematically chip away at it one freedom at a time? These are truly challenging times at the hand of "sore winners" a challenge created solely from Conservative hate alone and nothing else.
