Thanks to Colby O'Brien for bringing the "mistake" that Mr. Duprey claims he made regarding a post on the Village of Waterloo Facebook page ( FLT 3/10/2017).How ironic is the claim by Mr. Duprey that he got "confused" when making a change to the Village's Facebook page which he "volunteers" to maintain and pointed voters to his own election page.
How ironic this "confusion" happened a week before the voters go to the polls and choose 2 trustees,Mr. Duprey vying to be 1!!!!
This appears to be another act by Mr. Duprey to use his position as a Village Trustee for personal benefit. Lets hope his "confusion" is short lived and does not cause the taxpayers of the village to suffer anymore with failing infrastructure, water, sewer rates skyrocketing and equipment falling apart.

If anyone out there believes there should be TERM LIMITS, now is the time to get rid of this guy.

It probably was a legitimate mistake but this is a reason why elected officials shouldn't be "managing" a town website. It should be left to the village staff.

There is no way it was a legitimate mistake. After 20 years as an elected official he knows better, he just didn't count on anybody blowing the whistle on him !

Woodchuck is on point, no way was this a mistake, it was very calculated, only thing he got "confused" on was that the general public is not as ignorant as this trustee thinks. Being in the video/social media business for a living he knows EXACTLY what he was doing and should be censored for it!!!
This guy is a career politician who takes every "public service" opportunity to PUT A DOLLAR IN HIS POCKET as he can, lets see he helps arrange a festivity and then films it and sells it for a profit!! Folks you better wake up and get him OUT, he is stale bread in the bread box.... Look around the joint its falling down, the lights are out and this guy and his buddy TED keep feeding the new owner of Waterloo gold sandwiches..... VOTE HIM OUT, save the cellar called WATERLOO maybe, just maybe it can be rebuilt.

I very rarely comment on the forums, but I feel the need to show support for two of the hardest working, sincere, and dedicated trustees that the Village of Waterloo has ever had. I have witnessed the many hours, heart and soul that Dave Duprey and Gina Suffredini have invested in our community. It is not up to just one person, but the community as a whole to pull together. With tenure comes experience. With experience comes the knowledge necessary to help guide our community. The many hours of service that Dave and Gina dedicate to not only the position of Village Trustee, but to many other community organizations, is very much appreciated! I wish both Dave and Gina much success in their bid for re-election. Respectfully, Jane Shaffer

we know he is one of your buddies. An endorsement from you just might backfire. If he wins it's only because there are 5 people running for 2 seats. The 3 way race is the only reason Teddy won, so they are trying it again.

Thank you Waterloo voters, the light is shining a little brighter today.
I think you will see Ted not run for election again and since he is still the Democratic Party Chairmen in the county he will have one of his pawns running, maybe the defeated Trustee will will make a come back if he's isn't in Florida still dabbing his tears, still covered by the village's health insurance plan, while the full time employee's continue to get the shaft on wages and health insurance premiums.
Oh the tangled weave of self serving politicians........

I know a lot of you guys at the VOW and know you work hard. But you might want to keep in mind while you have a government job that provides a nice retirement (paid for by taxpayers) that many of us out here in the real world pay thousands annually for health care. The problem with Waterloo is hardly the health care costs to the employees.

You might want to start by not having a civil war in the Republican Party next go around so that you can get a different mayor for your next boss.
