I think it is easy to get almost anyone off topic if you make outrageous comments. Or confusing comments like Teonan.

No need for gossipy twaddle. I'll gladly clarify any comments for your benefit Kyle.

Thank you for confirmation son, you remind me of Donald Trump, the very individual you despise, which in itself is ironic being that you're in many ways just like him seeing that you can't get to the topic at hand due to the fact that you're consumed by your own emotions and the main topic becomes irrelevant. Now....take a deep breath and think before you proceed, the topic is "Still More tribal News"
In regard to outrageous statements, the fact remain that 500 years ago the outrageous mindset that the world was round and not flat, maybe...just maybe, you're in need of some modernistic updating of the learning curve due to the fact that racial diversity is present and how we treat people is relevant to the 21st Century and this is definitely not 1850 anymore. wink

Sure you will.

You are your OWN self-fullfilling prophecy. You have no one to blame but yourself.

What a pity.

Onondaga 15 Loses Battle in Federal Court
By TWC News Web Staff
Tuesday, October 11, 2016

Following multiple days of deliberations, the group, known as the Onondaga 15, has lost its battle in federal court.

The case stems from an incident back in May of 1997.

Members of the Onondaga Nation say they were peacefully protesting on the side of Interstate 81, when state troopers gave no warning, came onto their land and started clubbing, beating and assaulting people.

The defense argued that state troopers believed the protesters were on state land and were considered a public safety hazard.

98 other plaintiffs previously settled with the state for more than $2 million total.

This group of 15 declined to take that settlement, and instead went to court.

However, late Tuesday afternoon, the jury ruled against them.

[Golly gee, imagine that. ]

Hardly childish. I'm Deathly Serious, and I'll continue to take EVERY opportunity that presents itself to tear the hoods off every cowardly racist perpetrating KKK-like ideologies, while gutlessly hiding behind the transparently false narratives (lies) of UCE/CERA/CERF Kyle and Yourself

Be a man and stand by the ideals of your own convictions. You're not fooling anyone and at least you'd have earned some self respect in the process.

Well said, after a 3 week absent, Rich decides that his appropriate return is to state Happy Columbus day on a Native American topic.

Hobart leaders urge caution with receipts from Oneida stores
Associated Press
OCTOBER 29, 2016 — 11:05AM
HOBART, Wis. —
. — Village of Hobart leaders are warning people to be careful in handling credit card receipts from businesses run by the Oneida tribe after a lawsuit failed to prevent the tribe from including select personal information on the documents.

Village president Rich Heidel tells USA Today Network-Wisconsin (http://gbpg.net/2e5eZXS) that the message was intended as a public-service announcement that credit cardholders who used Oneida businesses were at greater risk of identity theft because of what Oneida businesses display on their receipts.

The leaders cite a recent court case in which the tribe was unsuccessfully sued for continuing to include expiration dates and more than five digits of shoppers' credit card numbers on transactions.

Oneida spokeswoman Bobbi Webster says the issue isn't about consumer protection and that Hobart is trying to harm its businesses.

"It's a very inflamematory message and it's aimed at harming our businesses, not protecting the consumers," Webster said. "It's ridiculous that Hobart would . focus only on the Oneida Nation's businesses. Hobart should advise consumers to be cautious with all retail transactions, not just those involving Oneida businesses."
Receipts from the tribe's businesses display eight digits of a customer's credit card number, Webster said in an email Wednesday.

At issue is how the two sides interpret the portion of the U.S. Fair Credit Reporting Act that prohibits merchants from including credit card expiration dates and full credit card numbers on receipts.

Jeremy Meyers filed a class-action suit against the Oneidas in 2014 after he saw more than five digits of his card number on receipts from the Oneida Travel Center and the Oneida One Stop. The suit claimed the tribe had been violating the act.
Wisconsin-based U.S. District Judge William Griesbach ruled the tribe was immune from the lawsuit because FCRA does not apply to Indian tribes under an exception called "sovereign immunity." The U.S. Court of Appeals later affirmed the ruling.
