Timbo Silver Member Registered: 07/18/12 Posts: 14706 Loc: CNY	Around 25 channels with antenna alone, but I can get a couple hundred more for the cost of a single bottle of low- to mid-tier priced Finger Lakes Wine. Plus, the internet has literally THOUSANDS upon THOUSANDS of free news, arts, entertainment, culture, science, travel, sports and political sources all at the tips of their fingers. PBS doesn't air "Rick and Morty", but that channel (website) alone will keep the most hardcore info/entertainment junkie busy with the most diverse, high quality online content available. Google is your friend. Except for those who require their exclusive sports broadcasts or who must be up-to-date on the latest Game of Thrones episodes, etc, I can't imagine needing anything more. For those who do, they simply need to pony-up the dough for the privilege of watching "as it happens". _________________________ Everyone's entitled to their own opinions, but not their own facts.

I wouldn't do business with Spectrum for any reason. Just Google search "Angry Spectrum Customer". I can easily afford my current payments. I simultaneously host three home servers, download dozens of Hi-Def movies a week, and run multiple beta-tests while developing my own online apps without so much as a hiccup. All this with only one desktop wired directly. I could also buy a $200 Windows PC, but why in the world would I want to? Families with at least one child who participates in the National School Lunch Program or Seniors who are 65 or older and receive Supplemental Security Income _________________________ When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.

bluezone Diamond Member Registered: 12/19/04 Posts: 35875 Loc: USA	it seems their current excuse as to why the 'on-demand' features are not working 100% of the time is that it is a 'free feature' since when? they had to install their own software for the on-demand cuz twc owned the previous software and now they can not seem to get their version to work most of the time too many error codes to have to contend with

The New York State Public Service Commission (PSC) today voted to revoke its approval of Charter Communications' 2016 purchase of Time Warner Cable (TWC). The PSC said it is ordering Charter to sell the former TWC system that it purchased in New York, and it's "bring[ing] an enforcement action in State Supreme Court to seek additional penalties for Charter's past failures and ongoing noncompliance."
