You really don't see how I can respond to this, do you?

Ooh, ooh, I'll try. They were proper because they caused a riot.

I didn't know that you were the Police Chief in Geneva NY as well as the school administrators. It's quite evident that you're more than likely the town's busy body who has nothing to do besides repeating what your neighbor or friend heard from a second or third source. Oh, by the way, are the town Judge and prosecutor as well?

just looking for her reason why

Unless YOU were there, you really don't know.

And police show up in droves for any call. I've seen 6 cars pull up for a speeder. I've also seen 12 cops take down an individual who matched the description of a burglar. It's how they justify their jobs.

guess that would apply to you as you were not there

just asked you a simple question why you thought the riot charge was improper but yet you continue to run in circles

Have you ever called police to get a cat out of a tree? Or a chicken out of a coop? You seem to be an expert at throwing red herrings into a discussion. smirk

I did, your problem is the fact that you have no patience for rule or authority, is the system screwed up at times? very much so but I'm willing to put my neck out on this one son, you're an older White male with little to no education, bought up in a small town with little to no exposure to what is happening outside of your narrowed views. Your responses will typically go straight for the high weeds and not with clarity a sound answer, defy my assumptions.

Seeing that I was not there to witness the event nor were you, I guess that I'm the wise one by not weighing in on what's construed as proper or improper.

I wasn't there so I was just wondering myself.

Seems to me if it was improper the judge would have thrown it out.

Are you the judge in question? LOL
If you're foolish enough to equate fairness and justice to every judge or court system, I can now see why you have a problem grasping reality. wink

The court system will have to determine whether the charge of "riot" is proper. The local judge will certainly not be the last to have a say in this - this is, after all, a city in which city employees hang nooses in their yards and post big TRUMP signs in their yards - one can imagine that there may be some remnants of the past still clinging to power here.

In the end, we hope that the judicial system, including appeals courts and beyond, will make the determination. In the meantime, "riot" is the horse that the district attorney has chosen to saddle up, and it appears he is going to ride that sucker all the way around the track until he wins a ribbon or gets thrown off.
