Is it normal that I have old versions of Adobe Flash Player that won't go away?

I have versions 15 and 18 still on my Add-on/Plug-in list even though it's updated to version 21. The older ones are set to "Never Activate" but I wonder why they don't go away, even when I uninstall/reinstall the Flash Player?

Thanks for any response!

21,0,0,197 is the newest version of flash any other should be uninstalled.

Scratch that Adobe Flash Player 21.0.0.213 is now available. The following links are direct links to download:

For those that use internet explorer
http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/pdc/21.0.0.213/install_flash_player_ax.exe

For those that use chrome, firefox, opera,... update your browser or
http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/pdc/21.0.0.213/install_flash_player.exe

if you use edge update is coming through windows update.

Here is a page that give you details of how to remove older versions (pre 20.0.0.0)...etc...etc.... newer versions write themselves and usually uninstall older versions

Thanks for all this advice.

Is there a setting I need to tweak to avoid the problem of having to click "play" twice each and every time I want to play a video?

It sounds like the older versions of flash are really muddling things up, and potentially your browser might be out of date on updates. If you knew what browser you were watching them on Chrome, Firefox, IE and what version of Windows you are watching them on(if you are using windows Vista,7,8,10....if you say XP you might have a bigger issue) or what version of Ios (if using an apple device) I can be of more assistance.
