President Donald Trump has long been obsessed with the idea that the investigation into Russia's meddling in the 2016 election is really nothing more than a political scheme to rob him of the credit he so rightly deserves for winning that race. Over the last 24 hours, however, that obsession has been tuned up a notch, with Trump unleashing a series of bitter tweets attacking even his own top advisers and agencies for their alleged complicity in this narrative.

The Trump tweets, taken together, sound less like the views of the President of the United States and more like the sort of paranoid, conspiracy theories of InfoWars founder Alex Jones.

Nothing funnier than watching the liar in chief fall into a hole which is getting deeper and wider with no escape routes whatsoever. My question is who are the people conceiving these lies, not well thought out and seem more of something that grade school kids hatched in an last minute act of desperation. More holes than Swiss cheese.

Washington (CNN)Former Presidents Barack Obama, George W. Bush and Ronald Reagan enjoyed upward bumps in their greatness rankings, while President Donald Trump was ranked historically low, according to a presidential "greatness" survey released Monday.

The 2018 Presidents and Executive Politics Presidential Greatness Survey, released Monday, was based on 170 usable responses from current and former members of the American Political Science Association's presidents and executive politics section.
The survey asked the presidential experts to use a 0-100 scale "for overall greatness," with zero being failure, 50 being average and 100 being great. Roughly 57% of the respondents were Democrats, 13% were Republicans and 27% were independents (3% selected "Other").
Overall, Trump came in dead last. The seven greatest presidents, according to respondents, remained unchanged from the same survey's results in 2014, the previous time it was taken. In order, they were Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Theodore Roosevelt, Thomas Jefferson, Harry S. Truman and Dwight Eisenhower.

Trump did not fare well even when parsing the results by party and ideology. He ranked 40th out of 44 among Republicans and conservatives.
Self-identified Republicans and conservatives also ranked Washington above Lincoln as the all-time greatest president.
Among all those surveyed, another commander-in-chief who struggled in his rank: Bill Clinton, who fell to 13th best after being ranked eighth in 2014.
Obama came in eighth, up 10 spots from 18th in 2014. George W. Bush moved up five spots, from 35th to 30th. Reagan also moved into the top 10, ranking ninth. In 2014, he was at 11.

A former Trump staffer told me tonite that w/ news that Mueller has been able to flip Rick Gates, in addition to Mike Flynn & George Papadopoulos, “there’s nobody more nervous than Trump” right now. He added Trump’s “always been paranoid” but his paranoia has reached new heights.
11:00 PM - Feb 18, 2018

His behavior behind the scenes, however, tells a different story. He seems unable to separate Russian interference and his victory, even though there is not, as of yet, any concrete evidence that his victory is owed to Russia. This has placed the President at odds with our intelligence chiefs, who unanimously agree that Russia meddled in the 2016 election.

Trump's fear, it seems, is that his victory may not have been on his own merits. It is this insecurity that is blocking any meaningful action on preventing future foreign interference into our elections.

Trump has also treated Russian President Vladmir Putin like a friend, because to Trump, flattery is all that matters. "He said very nice things about what I have done for this country in terms of the economy, but he said also some negative things in terms of what is going on elsewhere," Trump said in December. "The primary point was to talk about North Korea."

No, CNN Commentator, The NRA Didn’t Train The Florida Shooter, That’s A Total Garbage Lie

Oh, well, they wouldn’t be the liberal media without dishing out total trash about gun politics. Take this lie about their favorite punching bag, the National Rifle Association. The lefty outlet Think Progress and others tried to smear the NRA for training Florida shooter Nikolas Cruz:

Nikolas Cruz, the 19-year-old who charged with murdering 17 people at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High, honed his marksmanship skills in a school program supported by the NRA. Cruz was, according to the Associated Press, a member of the school’s four-person varsity marksmanship team, which received a $10,000 grant from the NRA in 2016.

The marksmanship team was part of the schools’ JROTC program. On the team, Cruz trained with “air rifles special-made for target shooting, typically on indoor ranges at targets the size of a coin.”

Cruz discussed his AR-15 with other team members and was given the nickname “Wolf.” Another member of the team described him as “a very good shot.”

It’s a disgrace, especially since three JROTC students were killed while trying to save their fellow students from danger. Second, as some on social media have noted, JROTC is a federal program. Our friends at Twitchy captured some of the zingers.

Ok folks, time to explore yet another @sallykohn propaganda tweet:
1) Cruz was a member of the JROTC, and yes the NRA does provide funding for this air rifle competition program (4H has one too)
BUT,
2) JROTC is a Federal program sponsored by the U.S. Armed Forces.

Yes, ROTC is a program designed to train school shooters. What really sucks are all the American Heroes who take advantage of this program to go on and serve honorably some even dying on the battlefield. Oh, and in case you didn’t know, Marine Corps Staff Sergeant Joey Jones lost both his legs while serving in Afghanistan. He was a bomb technician. Great patriots have come from this program.

So, no—the NRA did not “train” the Florida shooter. The JROTC program has been around for decades, it’s a federally funded program sponsored by the armed forces that the NRA happens to dole out grants for regarding marksmanship exercises. So, the military is now being put in the crosshairs of the progressive media slime machine to push for the Second Amendment’s abolishment? It’s absolutely pathetic.

We lead by example son , yes they did train him by means of not having an opposing voice that may have kept him from committing this horrific act. We're not born hateful or racist but by means of learned traits son we mimic. Once again, you Conservatives are so offensive not to mention very hypocritical. We are attempting to comprehend the horrid and violent act which took 17 lives and injury many more and what is your president doing as we speak? tweeting, name calling, asking a Attorney General to go after a former president because he just got caught in lies while fact finding info. is confirming that he isn't really a legitimate candidate or POTUS due to criminal actions on behalf of the Russians. Bottom line, you and your supporter already knew this and now attempt to make a case but in reality, your actions falls squarely in the arena of embarrassment and dysfunction. Question, if your local High school principal, superintendent, teacher, athletic director or even the school custodian conducted themselves as Trump has, tell us that you would go on his/her defense. I now understand why liars are so proficient at their skill, practice makes perfect.

Second Amendment. The Second Amendment of the United States Constitution reads: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

Now this being the case, we don't need policeman, military or the National Guard seeing that each individual is endowed with the right to protect his/her self. Let's hear the hypocrisy on the conservative side since the Constitution has given every citizen the right to bear guns thus our nation realizing a "free for all" society, wonder if this freedom is the reason that the United States has the highest gun violence rate of any developed country?

Mexican President cancels trip to the United States, it appears that he and Trump had an heated debate over the "wall" that Trump promised his supporters he would make Mexico pay for it. Guess how many jelly beans are in the jar? WAIT, those are not jelly beans, they're candy corns. Intelligent people know that but Conservatives insist that Trump knows the answer, when in actuality, he is guessing himself 24 hours a day on the premise that they're JELLY BEANS.....Now you know why he's convoluted and vacillating anytime he opens his mouth. Like Forest Gump stated " You never know what you're going to get" Yesterday, one honest governor stated it correctly and boldly in his face, Mr. president 'More listening and less tweeting" This would be a great start to governing yourself as someone that actually know what they're doing.
