Judy Hoy on Glyphosate & Wildlife

Published on Jun 10, 2015 - Tony Mitra

Montana based wildlife rehabilitation and scientist Ms Judy Hoy speaks with Tony Mitra, about the serious degeneration and existential threat facing North American Wildlife, thanks to Glyphosate and other nasty chemicals.

She has been measuring and conducting autopsy on dead animals, 70% of which show signs of severe nutrient deficiency, likely induced by Glyphosate poisoning.

However, the concerned Govt institutions in USA show no interest to investigate this.

International doctors call for immediate ban on cancer-causing glyphosate herbicide

June 10, 2015

In response to a recent International Agency for Research on Cancer report, which found that the Monsanto herbicide glyphosate “probably” causes cancer in humans, a cohort of international doctors is now petitioning the European Union Parliament, the EU Commission, and several other health and food safety authorities to take action by banning the use of this prolific chemical.

Genetically modified Arctic brand apples are not expected to be in stores until after the 2016 harvest. But this is a good time to let your grocer know you don't want them!

West African Country Dumps Monsanto’s GM Cotton, Seeks Compensation

by Christina Sarich
Posted on June 10, 2015

All of these groups have complained that Monsanto’s GM cotton did not produce quality cotton fiber, and farmers have experienced lower yields than with non-GM cotton. The group will also seek compensation from Monsanto for lower yields they experienced since the 2008 growing season.

by Christina Sarich
Posted on December 25, 2014

“It’s not just the clusters of grapes you see hanging that are harmed. It’s next year’s cluster and the cluster the year after that. You get a dose, it mutates the vines.”

Major Vermont Hospital Plans To Remove GMOs From Its Menu

June 10, 2015 by Amanda Froelich

How healthy can a hospital be when it serves McDonald’s and franked-like foods to sick and recently operated on patients? This question has been posed for quite some time – and for good reason, as diet has been estimated by the CDC to prevent up to 75% of most modern-day diseases of affluence.

But what is one to do when they are checked into a hospital with poor food choices on the menu?

Editor of Prestigious Medical Journal Says “Science has Taken a Turn into Darkness”

Josh Paniagua, June 9, 2015

"And there we have it. The editor of a prestigious medical journal that has published peer-reviewed data since 1823 has openly admitted that the corrupt have indeed infiltrated the science community and its media outlets. Surely, this isn’t news to many, yet millions of readers have been and will continue to be deceived by the label of “peer-reviewed” in spite of this blatant confession."

Chemical Companies to Write Own Chemical Safety Standards

Does this sound safe to you?

by Christina Sarich - June 1, 2015

This new bill would essentially give companies like Monsanto, Dow, Bayer, and Syngenta the authority to call their own toxic chemicals ‘safe’ when regulatory bodies elsewhere have called them carcinogenic, and even deadly.

Kashi settles GMO false ad class action for nearly $4 million

June 12 2015

Kashi Co., a unit of Kellogg Co., has agreed to pay up to $3.99 million in a class action alleging that the company advertised its products as “All Natural” despite containing genetically modified organisms (GMOs). Eggnatz v. The Kellogg Co., No. 12-21678 (S.D. Fla., motion for preliminary approval filed June 5, 2015). The proposed settlement agreement provides class members who can prove they purchased the products a full refund and those without proof $0.55 per package, totaling a minimum of $2 million and maximum of $3.99 million in claims. Kashi will also remove the “All Natural” label from products containing the contested ingredients and provide class members with compliance information on the Non-GMO Project Verified seals displayed on some of its products. The settlement agreement applies to the national class but excludes California residents due to a settlement in a case involving similar claims.

Attention, Viagra Users of Columbus: Don't Drink the Water

By Tom Philpott | Tue Jun. 16, 2015

In Columbus, the problem is nitrate, from nitrogen fertilizer that leaches out of farm fields and into streams and rivers. Nitrates also concentrate in hog manure, which is also applied to farm fields and is prone to leaching. Nitrates in the water emerging from one of the city's main water-treatment facilities, called Dublin Road, have exceeded the federal limit of 10 parts per million.
