I think perhaps roofing contractors or gutter contractors might do it for you or at least have some suggestions.

Sorry, Whisper, I was being facetious earlier. Is your house one story or two (or more)? If you do find someone who is willing to go up a ladder in this weather with wind chill factors down below zero, be sure he's insured and expect to pay a premium for the service. Check with your homeowner's insurance company to be sure you're covered -- your insurance may not cover any injury suffered as a result of trying to remove icicles. On the other hand, what are the chances of damage to your house if icicles are not removed? Are cars parked in the area where icicles might fall and do damage? If you do find someone, please post the name here. A lot of other people may have the same concerns as you do.

I saw some of Proctor Roofing crew
clearing snow of a roof the other day. They might be able to help.

We have some huge icicles that need to come down. Does anyone know of anyone in the area that would knock them down for us at a resonable rate. Thank you. This would be in Waterloo.

is this on a one story or two story home?
do you have interior water damage from 'ice daming'

if it is not a safety concern the weather is supposed to warm up and the icicles will melt

if you normally get large icicles you may want to check to see if you have enough insulation in your attic

adding insulation will also help lower your heat bill

if you have large ice dams you may want to look in the attic area to see if you have water leaking from the roof

weather forecast for next sunday says it may be 40 degrees

a few days above 32 degrees with sun and the icicles will melt away
