Unless there's another piece of property still zoned industrial, but surrounded by residences, I don't this this will be a big issue.

Watching other towns progress with ideas that increase their tax revenue is great but here in Geneva,,,,, we get chicken coops. Figures.

If remembered how blighted that property was pre-chicken you'd be delighted with this result.

True that Tacitus. Saw it last week. An example of backyard chicken keeping at it's best.

I agree. The property now is so much cleaner and safer than it was before. Sometimes I wonder about the neighbors who objected. They could have banded together and cleaned up the site. If they had, I would have felt a little differently about their objections to the chickens and solar panels. It seems obvious that they didn't object to the situation or didn't feel strongly enough to take it upon themselves to clean it up. Jeff and his crew did a wonderful job with the property.

I agree too. Taking a vacant overgrown eyesore to a well manicured gem took a lot of effort and work by Jeff Henderson. The lot now looks great! I thank him for his efforts. It would be great if he could transform another vacant lot. We need more people that are willing to put in their time to make Geneva better.

I wouldn't be happy next to a chicken farm, but the solar panels don't bother me at all. Wish it was easier to put them on a residential roof.

I feel that the city and its surrounding communities (including those who come from other states and countries) should be able to enjoy the natural beauty that is one of this area's assets,as well as one one of historic value and peaceful value. This natural beauty benefits all individuals worldwide who want to partake of this lovely lake's ambiance. Seems to me to be very narrow minded to think it belongs to GENEVA. It should be left in its natural state so all of earth's people and wildlife

Maybe be his groundhog alert system? I guess the difference in zoning went unnoticed.

As a matter of fact, I did indeed bring a chicken home with me the other day. It was delicious.
