You didn't deserve the last tax cut. So now it is time for you to pay up.
Letting the tax cuts expire on everyone is the only way to increase the low and middle class contributions to the contry's fiscal needs.
This is the only way if Obama willnot cut spending on social programs at all...

Yeah, let's all take the fiscal advice from the the policy makers that created the financial calamity we're in.
"Some AEI scholars are considered to be some of the leading architects of the second Bush administration's public policy.
More than twenty AEI scholars and fellows served either in a Bush administration policy post or on one of the government's many panels and commissions.
Among the prominent former government officials now affiliated with AEI are former U.S. ambassador to the U.N. John Bolton, now an AEI senior fellow; former chairman of the National Endowment for the Humanities Lynne Cheney, a longtime AEI senior fellow; former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, now an AEI senior fellow; former Dutch member of parliament Ayaan Hirsi Ali, an AEI visiting fellow; and former deputy secretary of defense Paul Wolfowitz, now an AEI visiting scholar. Other prominent individuals affiliated with AEI include Kevin Hassett, Frederick W. Kagan, Leon Kass, Charles Murray, Michael Novak, Norman J. Ornstein, Richard Perle, Radek Sikorski, Christina Hoff Sommers, and Peter J. Wallison." - Wkikpedia
Bribing scientist to 'massage' Climate Change findings, Taking $1.6 million from ExxonMobile and firing conservative commentator David Frum for criticizing Republicans for losing the election by failing to bargain with Democrats on the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
These think-tank 'geniuses' have come up with some of the stupidest statements since, well... Bush.

I guess you answered your own question.
WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—The international terror group known as Al Qaeda announced its dissolution today, saying that “our mission of destroying the American economy is now in the capable hands of the U.S. Congress.” In an official statement published on the group’s website, the current leader of Al Qaeda said that Congress’s conduct during the so-called “fiscal-cliff” showdown convinced the terrorists that they had been outdone. “We’ve been working overtime trying to come up with ways to terrorize the American people and wreck their economy,” said the statement from Al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri. “But even we couldn’t come up with something like this.” Mr. al-Zawhiri said that the idea of holding the entire nation hostage with a clock ticking down to the end of the year “is completely insane and worthy of a Bond villain.” “As terrorists, every now and then you have to step back and admire when someone else has beaten you at your own game,” he said. “This is one of those times.” The Al Qaeda leader was fulsome in his praise for congressional leaders, saying, “We have made many scary videos in our time but none of them were as terrifying as Mitch McConnell.” As for the future of Al Qaeda, the statement said that it would no longer be a terror network but would become “more of a social network,” offering reviews of new music, movies and video games. In its first movie review, Al Qaeda gave the film “Zero Dark Thirty” two thumbs down. Get the Borowitz Report delivered to your inbox.
