LOL...now I remember why I quit reading "Time", many years ago.

Here's the entire list of perpetrators, pinheads, planets, and other people. I have a particular warm spot in my heart for "Planet of the Year". Now, that was some pathetically desperate sharp journalism!:

I looked at it, made an accurate assessment of your mentality and I've moved on. It's nice to know you place so much importance on my opinion though. Thanks.

"Person of the Year (formerly Man of the Year) is an annual issue of the United States newsmagazine Time that features and profiles a person, group, idea or object that 'for better or for worse, ...has done the most to influence the events of the year.'"

Using the above criteria, I find it an appropriate selection. Especially in view of the fact that Obama was not only elected, but RE-elected president of the Racist States of America. Regardless, you certainly can't deny that he has been a news maker.

Yeah, like 1988, when the planet Earth influenced events. I mean, we're still alive, so obviously Earth was there for us all, and I'm pretty happy about that, but "influence" events? That's a real stretch, even for Time.

Wait...I'm forgetting the Newport-Bermuda race that year. The fact that Earth worked so hard to provide oceans in 1988 influenced whether or not they decided to race. Yeah...that must be it!

Oh Well! Does it matter? Becase in two "2" more days it's all over; so I have been hearing.
Well if I come back I want to bein charge this time, please?
Once a Marine always a Marine
Oorah!! Semper-Fi.

Now be open minded here. It was all very sad to read about these school shootings don't get me wrong .It was and is a very sad thing. But the guns did do damage and have changed kives. But to think he these sick people didn't have a gun what would of been used then? Bombs,IED etc which would of taken a hell of a lot more people. Simple house hold goods can be turned into IED in a very fast method.
I'm very sad that all these sootings happened at all. Again just very happy they did not turn to other methods because there were no more guns left.

Hmnnn...I'd forgotten. Does this mean I don't have to sweep out the garage this week? And don't you think the Maya should have been persons of the year? I mean, the Mayans haven't blown up as many people as the KiC, but they might make a comeback.

"Racist States of America."

WOW

but with 2011 circulation numbers of 3,298,390 and dropping on average of 0.5% per year, this makes perfect sense.

So I suppose that those circulations numbers have absolutely NOTHING to with the fact that ALL print media is undergoing similar contraction of subscribership.

People like you are the reason Mark Twain said 'Figures Don't Lie but Liars can Figure."
