ITHACA — ITHACA - The body of a young adult man was found in Cascadilla gorge early Wednesday morning.
Cornell and Ithaca Police are still on the scene where the body was found on a stone walk that runs along the creek. Just above the body, fencing on the north side of the gorge west of the bridge appeared bent and broken.
Ithaca police were taking measurements and photographs in the gorge. Ithaca fire crews and Bangs ambulance workers were also at the scene .
The man was wearing a yellow shirt and dark jeans.
The bridge is one on the Cornell campus that will have safety nets installed in an effort to reduce suicides. Nets have not yet been installed on the Cascadilla bridge.

Nets and safety. ou'd think one death would of caused thid being done years ago. Reminds me of the DOT when there's a safety situation that has taken lives it takes forever to get something done. I often have thoughts of how many may not of been assidents at all.

I see some one does pay attention to Ithaca besides me. Go for a drive after dark and check out the freaks walking around or sitting on a door step of some business.
JMO some one ripped off another.
